ADA-Compliant Design Highlights: Grade 2 Braille on Room Number Signs: All room number plaques include tactile Grade 2 Braille per ADA standards, offering essential support for visually impaired guests. High-Contrast & Non-Glare Finishes: Signage uses high-contrast text and matte materials to reduce glare and improve readability. Tactile Raised Characters: All letters and numbers are raised to allow for tactile reading. Project Background: This project is located in Jamaica and serves as a modern shopping complex combining retail, leisure, and dining experiences. Our team was responsible for the full-scale design and production of both indoor and outdoor signage systems, establishing a cohesive and branded wayfinding environment for visitors. Design Concept: With the core principles of clarity, consistency, and international appeal, the signage system enhances customer orientation and spatial awareness while complementing the tropical architectural elements. Scope of Design: Outdoor Illuminated Logo Signage: A large illuminated 3D logo was installed at the main entrance to serve as a prominent landmark. Parking Lot Wayfinding System: Includes directional signs, level indicators, entrance/exit guides, accessibility and emergency signage to optimize flow for vehicles and pedestrians. Custom Outdoor Trash Bins: Designed with visual branding and clear waste classification for aesthetic and practical utility. Indoor Floor Directory System: Strategically placed floor maps and directional signage guide shoppers efficiently through multiple levels and zones. Restroom, Emergency Exit, and Utility Signs: Clear and compliant with international standards for safety and service clarity. Tenant Façade Signage Coordination: Unified style guidelines for individual store signage to maintain a consistent visual identity throughout the complex.
